Think big.
My first CD, a right proper Mad Man, used to quip about scotch that there was an ad in every glass but more importantly, a campaign in every bottle. He wasn’t suggesting you need to drink a bottle of scotch to do this job. He was talking about putting in the time to make good ideas great.
One-offs can be awesome. They can solve problems and win awards if that’s your thing. But to really move the needle you have to think big. And big ideas need a team. It is my strong belief that with the right team, and enough time there is nothing that cannot be done.
Every great thing that I have accomplished in my career was because of a team. I care deeply for them. And I revel in their success.
